Cappadocia is one of the favorites of travellers when it comes hiking. The reason behind it is, after different rock and soil layers were submerged for thousands of years, these layers were exposed to harsh environmental conditions such as rain, high-speed winds and volcanic eruptions, creating the unique geomorphological structure of Cappadocia. Due to most of these geomorphological structures being spongy tuff rock formations it is still easy for the nature to shape these landforms with its conditions.
Even though Cappadocia is spread to a wide scale in Central Anatolia, every part in Cappadocia has its unique land formations. There are different types and sizes when it comes to valleys where the hiking trails are most beautiful and convenient.
The hiking trails offer a lot of variety for travellers, from in valley hikes with lots of green scenery, a bit more thrilling high altitude hikes close to edges which are totally safe of course if the travellers pay attention to where they are stepping, hikes between fairy chimneys and diverse rock formations with soft soil and for last it also offers city hikes. Every trails has its own tempo and if we consider the diversity of these trails the tempo will change frequently with every up and down.
Most of Cappadocia’s hiking trails are ancient paths used by early civilizations who have inhabited Cappadodcia as a haven. Most of these inhabitants are early christianity period communities who have carved various churhes. It has been easy for them to carve these churches inside rocks due to the rock formations being spongy and soft. Almost on every hiking tours, travellers will path between these churches and visit these sacred places since most of them are located close to each other.

✔ Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel or if you are coming from abroad you will be transferred from Kayseri or Nevşehir airports.
✔ Meskendir Valley, a perfect trekking location with stone-carved churches along the trail, is the first hike location.
✔ Red Valley, is a magical place with beautiful scenery and fresh air to have a refreshing hike.
✔ Güllüdere Valley, is one of the most liked trekking locations. A hiking trail at the foot of Bozdağ between Fairy Chimneys, almond and apricot trees.
✔ Çavuşin is the lunch location. After lunch, you will visit the Çavuşin Ruins.
✔ Paşabağı the Valley of Priests is the next location to have a hike between different formations of Fairy Chimneys and history to Zelve Valley.
✔ Zelve Valley is the last hike location between several stone-carved churches and Fairy Chimneys.
